The Nedge candidate Tom Wust came within just 16 votes of achieving a shock win in Hollinswood, Randlay, Stirchley & Holmer Lake. After an extremely positive campaign, Tom and the local Conservatives attended the count at Telford Tennis Centre on 14th November to view the count. The result went to a recount, and Tom conceded to Labour's candidate after a tight contest.
The final results were:
- Labour: 636, 33.8% (down 20.6% from last time)
- Conservative Tom Wust: 33.0% (up 7.0% from last time)
- Reform UK: 427, 22.7% (new candidate)
- Green: 84, 4.5% (new candidate)
- Independent: 61, 3.2% (down 6.6% from last time)
- Liberal Democrats: 53, 2.8% (down 7.0% from last time)
